As we gaze into each others eyes we see our light within.

This is a cave setting and in the cave are many symbols, relating to their love. This painting also has strong still life elements as where we see a rose, a cup and a vase.

You can see what he is thinking, these are memories from his past.  The hearts are in his mind and they’re coming out of the top of his head. As these men (aspects of himself) carry hearts, some carry only a torch, some carry a heart and a torch.

The lady is essentially doing the same thing on the other side, framing a woman with glowing eyes and the light of a candelabra.

As they hold hands their arms seem to be dematerializing to polygons, those progressively become smaller and jewel-like and move towards the light which is now penetrating the table.

On the table a pink rose, a symbol for passion and love. The vase (and of course), the cup of the elements made of Ruby, Agate, Lapis, Lazuli and Amethyst. The base of the cup is emerald with a gold  handle.

This is all occuring on a mahogany table.

A “Kings” bed looms floating above the terrain with its rope ladder dropped as if to call them to love.
