The body houses the soul, the spirit in matter.

The basis for this piece started with a portrait of my friend Susan, and continued with a number of household objects and fruits.

On the left you can see a hand holding a lit candle. From a friends abundant garden came the flowers which I had to paint immediately while they were fresh.
